Hey, there's going to be a familiar face for some of us starting this month on Fox TV!
Nathan Fillion (aka Capt. Mal Reynolds) has been reunited with "Firefly" scribe Tim Minear to star in Fox's mid-season replacement "Drive", which debuts in March '07. The premise is SO interesting -- read more about it here. I for one plan to jump on board -- can't miss Mal as he races for his life.
And speaking of Fox, is anyone following American Idol? Yes...we're the cornball family. *snort*

K, I know! I saw Mal in the TV ad and started sputtering. Woohoo! And isn't the premise cool?

Yep, been following American Idol. I adore Lakisha, what a great singer. I just don't understand (other than a pretty face) what Anatella (or whatever her name is) is still doing on the show. And I was really disappointed to see AJ go before the young Indian boy. He's sweet, but he's had 2 hideous performances in a row. I think he must be getting the sympathy vote or something.

Hi Tempest! I lost touch with the TV world for a few years myself. Now I watch again, but pretty much only for the Idol and House -- and college basketball. And Jeopardy. And....guess I watch more than I thought. LOL.
Maria, I LOVE Lakisha. As Randy would say, she's the bomb. Jordin Sparks (the 17 yr old who sang the Mulan theme song) is friends with our drive-thru coffee bar girl, so we're rooting for her too. LOL. I like quite a few from both groups. I agree about AJ -- that other guy, Sanjaya (though a doll) was much weaker than AJ or Nick. *sigh* I agree about Antonella too -- she HAS to go if people vote based on talent. OH! How about the guest performance of Pickler? Dh and I are still going "HUH?"

OMG OMG OMG! It's Nathan in a Shiny shirt! *fans self* He is one gentleman in my *ahem* harem of eyecandy. I love him (not literally of course! lol)
Nice to see him doing new things. Loved him in Slither too :)
As for American Idol, we get it on a Sunday here in the UK, and I was so disappointed Sanjaya didn't go! His performance was, for me, a little strange. LOVE Chris and Sundance. In the girls I adore the one who sange My Funny Valentine.

The girl who sang My Funny Valentine is Melinda Dolittle, right? The one who previously sang back up? She's one of my faves too. :)
