There's Our Boy!

** If you want to take over the world, and hate basketball--skip to post below. *muwhahahaha*

Well, I didn't actually carry him in my womb or anything, but Adam Morrison plays for our little home town college, so in a way... LOL. Truth is, I saw him around the campus quite a bit last year, but never actually talked to him.

He's taken on rock star status though around the nation, as evidenced when his bloody kleenex--that was stuffed up his nose at the Pepperdine game--went up for auction on Ebay. Can anyone say GROSS? Gonzaga bought it just to get it off there. Nobody here--especially Morrison--wants THAT kind of publicity. Eww...

Anyway, if you want to learn more about him and his race for the nation's top player with Redick (the two happen to be friends, btw), grab this week's SI.

We play WCC tournament games today and tomorrow. Then we move on to the NCAA playoffs, but that whole schedule confuses me into a coma.

And what a ride it'll be this year.

Will they go all the way or choke before the final 4.

You weren't kidding about the tough game last night. Wow.

Maybe this: http://www.ncaasports.com/basketball/mens will help with the coma inducing schedule figuring out bits.

    :D

Thanks K! It looks like it'll be a 10-day break in between. Maybe Batista's knee can heel from the sprain.

The commentaters seem to think it's possible for them to make it to the final 4, but they will be going up against much tougher teams than what they're used to, so...honestly, I'd be suprised (but pleasantly so!). :)

    Watching them tonight?

Dawg keeps dancing in and out of my *cough* office and telling me the score and the time left.

    I think he's stressing.

    LOL.

Onward to the final 4 after the sweet 16, elite eight and beyond!

Thanks Honey! They took the WCC championship--now on to the NCAA!!! Oh--and Morrison was invited to join the Olympic team for 2008.

K! I know! They play these games to darn close to the last couple seconds. It's enough to give one heart failure. Then our satellite went blank for ESPN and we had to listen to the rest on the radio. Argh! Calm down, Ellen. It'll be okay. Whew!
