    :( I'm crying for you today, E.

But they made it so far - and that's something to be proud of. :)

    Yup, they tripped.

Just need to keep those good thoughts until next March.

Are they like the SuperChickens? Choking at the end?

    E...have you been tagged???

    Thanks for the commiseration guys!

Choked at the end. Yes. Some blame the players. Others blame the coach. Some say the refs swallowed their whistles in the last minute and didn't call the fouls on JP. Who knows--I don't know basketball well enough to say.

Tagged? Yes....I'll get to it. I promise. :)

Wow, at first I saw your entry and thought you meant the sad fact that Buck Owens died. He did, y'know.

When I was like, seven, my mom (while we watched Hee-Haw) said "Buck Owens gives me a headache." Then some time later, we were watching it again (this was an every-Sunday thing: Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom, Walt Disney, and then Hee-Haw) Buck Owens came on the show, "I'm Pickin' and I'M GRINNIN!" and I turned to ask mom if she needed an aspirin. Kids just take things so literally, don't they? To this day, I see him and think "He gives Mom headaches."

    Jan,
Who needs to get off her ass and go do something more productive than sift through the lint filter of her mind.

Jan, I just saw in yesterday's paper about Buck Owens--don't know how I missed that! Weird to have two Hee-Haw thoughts in the course of a few days. We watched the show regularly too (and Wild Kingdom, Disney, etc). Johnny Cash had a weekly show for awhile as well, and Dad loved anything country. We must be close in age. :)
