Here's my girl on her first independent vacation. She's spending a couple of weeks out-of-state at the grandparents' lake cottage. They have a neat entertainment park nearby. Apparently, she's having a blast and doesn't miss us at all. :)
Oh Ellen! I'm so proud you were able to let her go. It's a fine line we walk--wanting them to have their independence and wanting to keep them tied to our apron strings. :)
She's a pretty girl and I bet she does miss you. :)
Each day, new reports roll in with exciting stuff she's done. Knowing my dad, she'll be horseback riding and 4-wheeling before the weekend's over. Boy, will she ever be bored when she comes home! LOL.
Well! It's about time you posted something on this blog! It was getting damn lonely around here! LOL
Sounds like being out of the cage is good. The more you let'em out the easier it gets, and then there comes a point when you go, ummm, can't you go visit a friend or something? LOL
Well, Monica, I have to say...it HAS been kind of nice with my son at Grandma's the last couple of days and my daughter at the other grandparents--it's like we're single again! LOL. But, I do miss them. :)
