House and other news...

I love Tuesdays . . .

I don't know if any of you follow House, but for several episodes, our hero/anti-hero doctor meets his match in Detective Tritter, played by David Morse. The last couple of episodes have been great. Morse is such a phenomenal actor -- can't wait to see what he does next.

In other news, there is a new kind of pop-up book, and it ain't for kids, folks.

In the Pop-Up Book of Celebrity Meltdowns, you get to see Tom Cruise popping up from Oprah's couch, Russell Crowe throwing a phone (it boings out from the page).

It's sick and wrong. It made me laugh.

What made you laugh today?

Well, it's early yet so I don't know that I've laughed yet. ;o)

But, as you may have guessed, I don't watch House (I've heard it's opposite Dancing with the Stars ;o) ).

In any event, have a good Tuesday - may it be FILLED with laughter. :o)

Funny happenings before a cup of coffee? Ack!

Wait, there was one. Digger and Two-Toes jumping on Boy to wake him up. Old ritual with a new twist.

There might be more laughter today.

Let the caffeine hit the system. ;)

Happy Tuesday, E! May it be gigglearific!

OOoo does Rhoda know that her man is on House? I wonder if she gets to see it in Canada?

My morning laugh came from Shelli Steven's post over at http://www.thenoveltygirls.blogspot.com. Her Did She Just Say That post cracked me up!

BTW, that book is disturbing... ;)

OMG, Ellen. I need that pop-up book. I hope my kid doesn't fine and start tearing off body parts like he did in the Snappy Sounds Goes Moo book.

I love House. I love that he's being tormented by the cop. It's fun.

L, when does Dancing with the Stars end? Not everyone loves House, and the dancing is fun, so maybe you're better off rooting for Mario. :)

Dad, I'm torn between despising the detective and loving that he's giving House a little of what he deserves. I just can't figure out if Morse's character is supposed to be "off-balance" or not.

K, I would think with your new doggie, there will be quite a few laughs at your house today. LOL.

A, I forgot about Rhoda's thing for David Morse! OMG! I think I'll email her. :) Also, I'll check out Shelli's post.

Lillian, we're soul mates. Not only a fellow House lover, but I was hoping someone else would find that book funny. :) If you really want that pop-up book, you'll need to hide it from the munchkin. As you've experienced, pop-ups to them mean "come and mutilate me." LOL.

Of course the new dog, the new kitten are supplying new laughs.

Kitten: Let me drink your coffee after I steal your feather pen. Ooo, is that money mine?

    :D

Tonight is the last dancing episode (they bring back everyone for this one) and tomorrow is the last elimination round. After that my Tuesday and Wednesday nights will be free again. :o)

    Silly kitten, K. :)

L, maybe you will become a House convertee after DWTS ends. LOL.

Last night, the detective really irritated me when he froze Wilson's accounts. Boy he's a good actor. Also, he said to Foreman, "Everybody lies." So, is this to say he's just like House? And that Foreman's right to be worried now because that means that the detective will be unrelenting in his need to find the truth -- to be RIGHT (which is what House said was his reason for becoming a doctor)? Hmm...

Oh, and another way he's just like House is that he pops those chicklet like pieces of gum the same way House pops his pills. A mirror image...
